Aston Villa have launched their new home kit for the 2022/23 season by Castore, the first of a multi-year partnership with the growing British sportswear brand.
Castore was established in Manchester in 2015 and already supplies the kits for fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle and Wolves.
The Villa home kit, which continues to feature online car dealer Cazoo as the primary sponsor, stays true to a classic claret and blue look synonymous with the club.
“Subtle chevrons within the fabric represent the impressive honours won throughout the club’s prestigious history,” a statement explained. “Ergonomic panelling and the classic claret and blue colour palette draw inspiration from the sophisticated and understated style of the club.”
The likes of Philippe Coutinho, Emi Martínez, John McGinn, Tyrone Mings, Jacob Ramsey, Ollie Watkins, Laura Blindkilde, Emily Gielnik and Maz Pacheco all featured in the launch, representing both the men’s and women’s teams. For more from Jamie Spencer, follow him on Twitter and Facebook!
