Taylor watched the side match United in every department, but not for the first time this season they missed a host of goalscoring opportunities.
"Four weeks ago we scored five times at Middlesbrough and followed that up with three more goals at home against Blackburn and a few people were thinking this has been coming," said Taylor after the 1-0 home defeat.
"The main problem for us this season has not been converting chances and since those two games we have lost the next four and failed to score in the last three.
"We have to keep going and make sure this run of defeats does not take the confidence away from us."
