West Ham vs Aston Villa: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction

West Ham will look to put an end to a poor run of results while Aston Villa aim to continue their good form when the two teams clash in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

David Moyes has seen his men lose their previous three games in all competitions, being knocked out of the FA Cup courtesy of a 3-1 defeat to Southampton and most recently losing 1-0 to Liverpool in the league before falling to Europa League defeat in Seville this week.

By comparison, Steven Gerrard's side have won their last three. Villa are in scintillating form at the moment, scoring nine and conceding none in respective victories over Brighton, Southampton and Leeds in recent weeks.

Here's 90min's preview of this one.

Elsewhere, the in-form Jarrod Bowen is once again expected to be absent from proceedings due to a heel injury, while Angelo Ogbonna and Vladimir Coufal also remain sidelined.

Andriy Yarmolenko, however, is fit and available again.

Aston Villa team news

Gerrard, unlike his hosts, has very few concerns to contend with.

Only long-term absentee Marvelous Nakamba will sit this one out, with Villa expected to stick with the same lineup that won 3-0 at Leeds last time out.

West Ham vs Aston Villa prediction

With the respective teams entering this fixture in very different veins of form, it's a tough one to call.

The Hammers have slipped out of the European spaces in recent weeks but can just as easily recapture their early-season form to make up ground, while Villa have been consistently blistering of late.

It will likely be a very even contest littered with excitement and good football, although the sides may have to settle for a share of the spoils.

Prediction: West Ham 2-2 Aston Villa
