The Race For Fourth

The battle for the top four is really taking shape and with just four points separating Spurs in fourth and Villa in seventh, it couldn't be much closer.

So, here at Villa-MAD we though we'd give you our view on how things might just unfold for the Claret and Blue and their Champions League-chasing rivals.

Villa

March 27: Chelsea (a) - prediction: 2-2 draw

April 3: Bolton (a) - prediction: 2-1 win

April 14: Everton (h) - prediction: 2-2

April 18: Portsmouth (a) - prediction: 3-1 win

April 21: Hull (a) - prediction: 1-0 win

April 25: Birmingham (h) - prediction: 1-1

May 1: Manchester City (a) - prediction: 2-0 defeat

May 9: Blackburn (h) - prediction: 2-1 win

So, based on our predictions, it looks like the usual top four will remain in place.

Liverpool look set to clinch it by just one point, with Villa remaining in seventh just one adrift of Manchester City and Tottenham.

But this is football, so who knows? Villa could just sneak it...
