After the wait it's a total of eight

Transfer deadline day may have sprung an unparalelled amount of surprises across the Premier League, but at the scene at Villa Park was one of serenity.
Villa have completed eight signings since June meaning their eagerness to grab last minute men was limited.
Usually, the club leave it late to make their move but this time, thankfully, preparation was done and it paid dividends.
As the window slammed shut, some sides showed desperation with questionable acquisitions.
But having completed their man aims already, Villa could sit back and relax.
Martin O'Neill had been linked with late moves for Kevin Doyle and Henrik Larsson, but both rumours proved fruitless.
Villa appear to have a strong enough squad to cope with the rigours of a long season, with only the striking department a little short on cover.
But, all talk of breaking into the top four may be dispelled after the day saw Man City extraordinarily emerge as one of the big superpowers in world football finance.
The Blue Moon boys managed to complete the signing of Robinho ahead of pressure from Chelsea and Villa fans will be pleased to have faced Mark Hughes's men early in the season.
Thankfully, three points against the men from Eastlands are already in the bank.

Safe

Having said that, Villa should now fear no-one.
With James Milner and Steve Sidwell in, the midfield looks strong.
Keeping Gareth Barry is undeniably a plus point and interest from the top four in the lynchpin only served to illustrate just how important he is to Villa.
The additions of Carlos Cuellar, Nicky Shorey and Luke Young give the defence a reliable feel.
And they can be safe in the knowledge that behind them is a keeper, who will bale them out on plenty of occasions - the capture of Brad Friedel should prove vital.
American stopper Brad Guzan is one for the future and so too is Curtis Davies, who showed against Liverpool just how much he has learnt from Martin Laursen.
So, although fans would have welcomed a new face up front, there can be no complaint about the squad as it stands.
Whether it is good enough to compete on four fronts is questionable, but Villans would settle for competing on just two or three.
