The Colombian striker scored from open play in the 1-1 draw with Fulham on Wednesday night but had TWO spot kicks saved as Villa had to settle for a share of the spoils at Craven Cottage.

"We have to look at this as a positive result even though we missed two penalties," the Villa assistant said after the 1-1 draw.

"Last season at this stage we'd won six away games and this season even though we haven't won as many on our travels, we're still pushing up towards the same sort of position.

"We have to be pleased even though it was obviously disappointing when they equalised right at the death.

"Angel scored a good goal for us and then of course he missed the penalties. He hasn't spoken about it after the game but I know David O'Leary was very disappointed.

"A couple of other players wanted to take the second penalty but Angel took it and missed. He won't take another penalty for us this season."
