Aston Villa and Swansea City want Mouhamadou Dabo

The Senegal-born defender, 24, can play at either right or left back and has represented? France at Under 21 international.

Dabo joined Sevilla on a free transfer from French club Saint-Etienne last summer but could be available for just ?2m as his club look to raise transfer funds.

Villa played both Luke Young, the former England defender, and Kyle Walker at right-back last season.

But with Walker returning to parent club Tottenham, Villa are in the market for another defender.

Swansea meanwhile are keen to strengthen their side after winning promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.

Fifteen of the club's players are due to be out of contract soon while the Swans have had a club-record ?3.5m offer accepted for Danny Graham, the Watford striker.
