The 28-year-old, who has overcome a rare cranial elephantitis to forge a footballing career, is due to return to Leeds at the end of January but Tubbs is keen to secure his services before Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Hull. "There are two issues with Eirik," the Irishman said. "I want him to stay for the rest of the season.
