Capello calls on fantastic four

Fabio Capello has called up four Villa players for his second game in charge against France next week. Scott Carson, Gareth Barry, Ashley Young and Gabby Agbonlahor are in the squad to travel across the Channel.
Agbonlahor will be looking to win his first cap after injury ruled him out of the game against Switzerland at Wembley.
Carson may count himself fortunate to even figure in the party as he has endured a poor run of form of late culminating in a horror show at Portsmouth last weekend.
Barry has been consistently called up since breaking into the team under Steve McClaren and his performances in the national setup mean he is the most likely to gain a starting place against Les Blues.
Barry's midfield counterpart Young has been in scintillating form this season and he's been touted by many as the man to solve the left sided problem that is consistently viewed as England's Achilles heel. However, Joe Cole has returned to form of late meaning Young may start on the bench unless Capello looks to experiment.
All in all it's good new for the Villa and it proves that the English policy employed by Martin O'Neill has paid dividends.
