Delaney targetting Spurs clash

The Welsh international says this weekends game against Liverpool may be too early but he will definitely be fit for the Spurs clash.

Delaney, who has been sidelined since the middle of November with a broken metatarsal, said: "I'm jogging again, but am still limping a little bit, which obviously means things aren't quite right yet.

I've got a few days to go before the Liverpool game but I can't see me making it. If I said I'd be ready and built myself up for it and then didn't make it, it would only make me even more depressed.

"It's getting a bit tedious now, getting so close and yet not being able to play but I'd say I'll definitely make the Spurs game."
