The 24-year-old is currently away representing Cameroon in Egypt and after his success in criticised David O'Leary while on international duty earlier this season, he repeated the feat by questioning Tubbs' treatment of French-educated players. "There is no doubt I will move to Spain after the African Cup of Nations," the midfielder told Ouest-France. "At Aston Villa I have found a coach who hasn't understood all the smoothness of French football."

That smoothness notably helped lubricate Arsenal's route to goal in his first start for the club almost a year ago, and he has made just ten Premiership appearances since. He made his discomfort with Tubbs known earlier this season on Eurosport before denying he said anything. This was only slightly negated by the TV footage that went:

Eurosport: "What's wrong at Aston Villa?"

Eric Djemba Djemba: "I think it's the manager."

With the transfer window due to shut in a week's time and the African Cup of Nations not set to finish for another two weeks, former Nantes Atlantique player Djemba-Djemba's plans for a move may prove difficult.
