Gudjonsson back in the Midlands

Gudjonsson spent a time on loan at Villa Park last season but the option to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the loan period was not taken up by new boss David O'Leary.

"If Joey plays as well as he did at Aston Villa, he will be okay," said Wolves boss Dave Jones.

"He will give us something which we have not got at the moment in midfield."
