The 22-year-old has spent the last three months on loan at Withdean, keeping four clean sheets in 15 games, and helping the side to 19th in the Championship, and he is keen to secure a permanent move away from Birmingham. "There's a couple of other clubs beginning to show an interest," he told BBC Southern Counties Radio. "But the club is on the up, and it's been a joy to be here and play first-team football."

Henderson, who has also spent time on loan at Tamworth, Wycombe and Notts County, is certain that he has no future under boss David O'Leary. "For me, personally, it's a horrible place to go to," he admitted. "I get on great with the academy and goalkeeping coaches, but Mr O'Leary has his own views on what he wants in goal - and I'm not part of that."
