Hendrie set for long goodbye

The 30-year-old has been like a peacock in season for much of the past month, rearing up and flourishing colour whenever a suitor struts within a mile of him. Leicester owner Milan Mandaric is the latest recipient of this honour and Hendrie believes the end is nigh. "Milan Mandaric is ambitious to take Leicester back to the Premiership and they are a big club, as are Coventry, so it's nice to be linked with them," he said, hitching up his skirt and revealing a startling pair of blue suspenders. "If my agent rings me on Friday with something worthwhile, then great."
