Hughes given all-clear

The Northern Ireland captain picked up the knock in the 3-2 defeat by Wigan on Tuesday, sparking fears that with three games left his season might be over. But a Villa spokesman said: "Aaron has had a scan which has revealed nothing more than bruising and certainly no knee ligament damage. He will be resting for a few days but we wouldn't rule him out of playing against Manchester City on Tuesday."
