Kinsella keeps place in Ireland squad

Kinsella has been named in Brian Kerr's 24 man squad for the vital Group 10 qualifying game with Russia at Lansdowne Road on Saturday, September 6th and the friendly against Turkey, also at home, on Tuesday, September 9th.

The former Charlton Athletic midfielder, who replaced the sick Gavin McCann in Wednesdays game at Arsenal, had become concerned at not playing enough for the Villa first team and only last week suggested he would consider a loan move in order to secure first team football and keep his place in Brian Kerrs squad.
