McCann out, Sneijder in?

Black Cats boss Roy Keane has been eyeing up the long-lashed McCann since the north-east outfit secured a return to the Premiership and Martin O'Neill is apparently wasting no time in replacing him. Sneijder's signature would be something of a coup, however, as the man is no Denny Landzaat. Regarded in the Dutch media as a 'pitbull with patience', the 22-year-old Netherlands international has scored 43 goals in 126 games for Ajax and may be reluctant to leave if they can overcome a 2-1 first-leg deficit against AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch Champions League play-off.
