"Martin left the ground last night on crutches and it looks like it might be ligament damage. We will have to keep our fingers crossed," manager Martin O'Neill has said.
"You hope he is okay because he has come back from a very serious injury that would have knocked a lot of people.
"Some people would never have come back from that and I have great respect for him.
