"Our defending was disgraceful. I try and protect everybody but I can't protect that," he said.
"Bolton kept launching it up to Kevin Davies and I thought he was fantastic.
"We got it back to 3-2 and had them on the rack but we didn't defend the ball into the box.
"There is plenty we could have done about the first four goals. It was a complete horror show as we were so vulnerable at the back."
