"I was delighted for Darius. He needed that badly. I was delighted for him to get those goals at home," the Villa boss said after the game.
"It will be of great benefit for us if he can now start scoring a few goals from now on in this season.
"You want him badly to do that. We'll keep giving him the chances and he has got to try and take them.
"When you cross that line onto the pitch it is down to you to produce the goods and I'm delighted he did that today."
