Phillips hails boy wonder

Phillips and Moore were given a rare game together after the latter scored against Chelsea in Villa's last outing, and they duly clicked. The pair combined for the opener, and Phillips added a second with an adroit flick before Moore completed his hat-trick, and the senior member of Tubbs' side's blossoming dynamic duo, is confident there is more to come from the boy wonder. "Luke deserves all the credit he's getting," he said, pushing a gloved fist into his other hand. "I've said all along that he’s a quality player. He's still learning and his enthusiasm is second to one. He showed that against Boro and I think he showed what a cool head he's got on such young shoulders with the finishes."

With that a nearby red phone began to ring, but while
Moore jumped up and down and began shouting "Awww gee" and "gosh", Ratman kept his cool: "You don’t want to get too carried away, but Luke himself is a level-headed lad. I've played with lads who are young and, having made an impression, let it get to them. But he was in the changing room after the match as if nothing special had happened. If he keeps putting in performances like he did at Boro on Saturday, who knows where he can go."
