Touted for international honours three seasons ago, the left-back has started just two games this term after a major case of second-season blues spilled over into a third term. His struggle has attracted the attentions of Bolton and Middlesbrough and the 25-year-old could be on his way this summer, after saying: "I don't believe I have had a fair crack of the whip. I don't want to play reserve team football, I'm better than that. Even if they offered a new deal I would move on."
