Shrewsbury Town have signed Aston Villa striker James Collins and agreed a fee with Bristol Rovers for winger Mark Wright, reports BBC Radio Shropshire.Collins, 20, had been on loan at Burton Albion but has now agreed a permanent 18-month contract at Greenhous Meadow.
Boss Graham Turner has been keen to bolster his striking options after just one goal in three games.
Shrews have also agreed a fee with Bristol Rovers for on-loan winger Mark Wright, 28.
Wright, who joined Shrewsbury on-loan in July, scored 10 goals in 24 appearances during his loan spell.
The clubs have agreed a deal after Wright's loan came to an end following the 1-0 defeat against Crewe on Monday.
Both Wright and Collins, who scored five goals during his two month spell at the Pirelli, are expected to be included in the squad to play Morecambe at the weekend.
