Solano Red Card Stands

The Villa winger was sent-off by referee Graham Poll just 11 minutes into the 1-1 draw at Fratton Park for striking out at Pompey midfielder Richard Hughes and although Villa appealed the red-card an FA Disciplinary Committeee have upheld the decision.

Solano now faces an automatic three-game ban beginning with the game against Blackburn Rovers at Villa Park this weekend.
