Spanish speculation

The latest Villa links come from Spain where Jose Crespo and Julio Baptista are being talked about as possible signings.
Crespo is a right back who plays for Sevilla and it has been rumoured in Spanish newspaper Marca that the Claret and Blue may make a swoop for the 20 year old.
The Spaniard will probably be unknown to most Villa followers but he has gained a big reputation in his homeland since the arrival of coach Manolo Jimenez.
Another apparent target will be much more familiar to fans. Julio Baptista, who was on loan at Arsenal last season, has been touted.
The Brazilian striker, now back at Real Madrid, has been in fairly good form this season and scored the winner in 'El Classico' against Barcelona.
He would not come cheap and you would have to wonder whether Villa would be prepared pay big money for someone who is unproven in the Premier League.
