Vassell named Midlands Young Player of the Year

Vassell started last season as just a fringe player at Villa Park but went on to become a first-team regular and his exploits catapulted him into the England squad.
The 22-year-old scored on his international debut against Holland and went on to represent England in the World Cup finals in Japan and Korea.
