Gary Cahill has received a first ever England Under-21 call-up for next week's friendly against Spain as three Villa players made the 23-man squad.

Gabby Agbonlahor and Ashley Young are also included in the party that will face Spain in Derby on Tuesday in what will be Stuart Pearce's first game in charge of the side. Cahill's inclusion is reward for a good run in the side by the centre-back, who will hope to secure a place in the squad ahead of the European Under-21 Championship in the Netherlands this summer.
