Davis and Hughes will both line up for Northern Ireland in the Group 6 encounter between and England at Windsor Park as the home side attempt to build on Saturday’s 2-0 win against Azerbaijan – the country’s first in four years of competitive football. Anything less than a win would be disastrous for England, but Lawrie Sanchez has set his sights on a fourth-place finish for and will be determined to spring a shock.

Surprises will be the last thing the Czech Republic need when they face Armenia looking to regain a top-two spot after dropping to third following defeat by Romania. Milan Baroš is likely to start, but Martin Laursen and Thomas Sørenson could again be missing as Denmark attempt to salvage their dim hopes of qualifying in a must-win game against Georgia. The onus is also on Sweden to secure victory as Olof Mellberg and his team-mates take on Hungary in Budapest.
