Villa don't want to ruin Reading run

Villa will look to make it eight defeats in a row for Reading as they travel to the Madejski for a lunchtime kick-off. The hosts are low on confidence and low on time if they are to turn their season around.
However, the Claret and Blue will aim to avoid a repeat of the last away game when they lost to a Fulham side without a win in 14 matches. That unceremonious defeat was shown on Sky and highlighted a complacency which Villa cannot afford if they are to challenge for Europe.
Tomorrow's meeting is also being aired live, giving Villa the chance to show the rest of the challengers just how they can play on the road.
Steve Coppell will be wary of the Villa attack as they were easily beaten 3-1 at Villa Park last month and they face an in form John Carew who might well be partnered by the returning Gabby Agbonlahor.
If Agbonlahor isn't ready then supersub Marlon Harewood could be handed a start in place of the ineffective Stiliyan Petrov.
For the home side Andre Bikey and Emerson Fae return after the African Cup of Nations, whilst Bobby Convey is also likely to be back. Ivar Ingimarsson will also be available.
Reading will need everyone back to fight their corner as they aim to end their slump. The Villa will look to build on a great win two weeks ago against Newcastle and should have no trouble with fitness as they have recently returned from a training camp in Malaga.
Whether the Royals can end their unfortunate run is unsure but Villa will certainly be hoping they can't.
