Manager Graham Taylor feels that Boulding will make a name for himself in the Nationwide League and offered the player his best wishes.
"The arrangement between Michael, Sheffield United and ourselves suits all parties," Taylor said.
"I am sure that Michael will score a lot of goals for them.
Consequently, Sheffield United want to keep him on a permanent basis."
Boulding goes straight into United's game with Watford and if he impresses at Bramall Lane it is expected he'll sign a two year deal with the Blades.
