One word which can define both Gerrard and Vieira's managerial philosophies is 'structure', with both coaches being renowned for their side's defensive solidity.

Villa showed that quality in abundance last week to get the better of Brighton, and they'll face a similar test against another side who like to dominate possession.

As a result, expect a cagey affair which could end goalless.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-0 Aston Villa
