"He’s had a bit of trouble with a sore Achilles tendon. That was sore when he came back from Sweden.
“If we look at the last 12 months, he’s played a lot of football and it wasn’t possible for him to rest in the close-season.
“But he’s handled it quite well and Wednesday night was the game for him to miss out on and he’s OK to play tomorrow.”
